tonight i went to the starlee kine lecture through the design criticism MFA department and i hadn’t heard it was happening until grace mentioned it, so thnx go out to her for that!

she was totally awesome. in this picture she was showing us stills from the movie annie which were acting as visual representation to explain how she perceives her thoughts and ideas as orphans. between this lecture and her excellent work on this american life (listen to her most well known episode here) i think it’s safe to say that i want to be starlee kine or at least be her best friend for life
